Daniel Wood

My name is Daniel Wood, and I am from Claremore Oklahoma. I love being outside. I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking and fishing. I love cooking and grew up gardening with my family. Pulling weeds, shucking corn and snapping green beans was a yearly routine at my grandparents who grew much of their food. Their passion for gardening imprinted on me significantly.

Cannabis has certainly allowed me to lead a much fuller life. In 2010 I suffered a spinal injury, and through my years of recovery I was able to successfully avoid dangerous medications with this plant medicine. I am thrilled to be where I am now because I can be a part of that same solution for others.  

As for my roles at Cake, I am one of the growers and a manager of the dispensary we will be opening soon. I am the early riser of the team and show up before six o’clock, six days a week and start the morning feedings. After that its pruning, defoliating, cloning or cleaning that needs done, and there is always more to do!
